Teramo is a small and fascinating town with heritage monuments. His name comes from the Latin term "INTERAMNIA", which means "town between two rivers." In fact the rivers Tordino and Vezzola trace the confines of the ancient Interamnia.

Within Hist.Urban the municipality of Teramo will develop an ecological biased lightning plan for the historical town and implement sample situations to demonstrate the feasibility. The results will be compiled in a handbook for other historical cities (together with Kaufbeuren).
