Project Structure

For the successful implementation of Hist.Urban – in accordance with the INTERREG IIIB CADSES requirements – Hist.Urban is structured in three levels:

CADSES program level
Project/ Finance management level
Project partner level

CADSES program level

The main actors of the CADSES program level are:

Joint Technical Secretary (JTS) in Dresden, Germany
Managing Authority (MA) in Rome, Italy

These entities are responsible for the finance and program management of the INTERREG IIIB CADSES program and the contact entities and recipients for approval of project changes, payment claims and progress reports of Hist.Urban. The MA issues the EU EFRE-funds to the project.

Project / Finance management level 

Lead Partner 

Responsible for the overall project and finance management of Hist.Urban and by this responsible to the CADSES program level is the Lead Partner of Hist.Urban, the German Association for Housing, Urban and Spatial Development.

DV e.V.

Within these tasks they are supported by the BauGrund Urban Development Ltd. as an external project manager and thematic coordinator. 

The main tasks are: 

  • Coordination and steering of the project Hist.Urban and its actions
  • Preparing, implementing and documenting the transnational activities
  • Reporting to the program level
  • Being the contact person for the project partners

Steering group

The steering group functions as the decision board of Hist.Urban, linking the project management level with the project partner level. They come together during the conferences and »Summer Academies«.
